1. Glitter paints contain no watercolor pigments but just high-quality glitters with added binder. Glitter particles are not as fine as watercolor pigments. When adding water, it just soaks through the tiny empty spaces in between each particle & will not settle on the top of the paint as much as ordinary watercolor paints.
2. They need to be fully saturated, please add generous amount of water & let it sit for 3-4 minutes. If it is still dry to stir, please add a few more drops of water to saturate the paint & let it sit for another couple of minutes.
3. Activate the paint by gently stirring the water around the paint. You will notice that the water picks up the glitters as you mix the water in.
4. Apply it on your art piece. For best results please use black paper or if white, you may want to prime it with a dark base to paint on.
5. They are best used as glaze on top of your painting or calligraphy to add extra sparkles & shimmery effects. These paints must be layered to your desired coverage. Make sure to let it dry in between layers.
6. Glitter particles are not powder fine; your artwork may take a bit longer to dry. Please give it enough drying time. Once dried, there may be little glitter transfer & a few particles may wipe off which is normal.
7. Let your pans dry after using them to prevent molds & store them in a cool & dry place that is out of reach of children or animals.
DISCLAIMERS
1. These paints were hand mixed & each pan required multiple batches of filling. Thus, colors may vary significantly between batches.
2. During the drying process, bubbles & cracks may develop which are unavoidable. These imperfections do not affect the quality of the paints. Due to glitter properties, some air bubbles do not make it all the way to the top thus air pockets may occur. If you have noticed a large air pocket in your paint, please let me know.
3. Hot & humid weather may affect the paints to stick to the foil wrap. Please put the pans in the freezer for a quick 3-5 minutes before unwrapping.
4. Please use proper safety procedures when using these paints. Do not eat or drink while painting & wash your hands after using them. These colors are not meant to be ingested or used on the body. When painting with handmade glitter watercolors, have used water sit overnight so the glitter particles will settle down at the bottom of the container. Gently pour dirty water out while leaving the glitters. Wipe the glitters with a paper towel & please dispose it properly.
5. Do not use these paints if you have an allergy to clove oil, lavender oil, gum arabic, glycerin, honey, mica pigments or glitters.
6. Returns, cancellations, or exchanges are not accepted. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact me so I can help you.
